Zwight – Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: August 28, 2024

At Zwight, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We aim to provide hyperfast, premium food delivery. However, in certain circumstances, cancellations and refunds may apply. Please read this Refund & Cancellation Policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Order Cancellations by Customers

  1. Customers may cancel an order within 1 minute of placing it, provided food preparation has not yet started.
  2. Once the order status shows “In Preparation” or “Out for Delivery”, cancellation is not allowed.
  3. If the order was prepaid and eligible for cancellation, a full refund will be initiated.

2. Order Cancellations by Zwight

Zwight may cancel an order due to:

  • Non-availability of items or ingredients.
  • Technical issues or system errors.
  • Unforeseen circumstances (kitchen shutdown, safety issues).
  • Suspicious/fraudulent activity by a customer.

In such cases, customers will receive a full refund to their original payment method or Zwight wallet.

3. Refunds for Delayed Orders

  1. Zwight offers a 15 Minutes or Free* delivery guarantee.
  2. If delivery exceeds 15 minutes (excluding exceptions), customers are entitled to a 5% discount for every extra minute, up to 100% of the order value.
  3. Refund/discount may be provided as:
    • Instant discount on bill, or
    • Zwight Wallet credits, or
    • Voucher for future orders,
    at Zwight’s discretion.

4. Refund Timelines

  1. Refunds to the original payment method (UPI, card, wallet) will take 7–10 working days depending on the bank/payment provider.
  2. Refunds as Zwight Wallet credits or vouchers may be issued instantly.

5. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

  • Customer provided wrong or incomplete delivery address.
  • Customer is unreachable/unavailable at the time of delivery.
  • Customer deliberately delays accepting delivery to claim benefits.
  • Bulk/party orders beyond the standard limit.
  • Pre-orders scheduled for later delivery.
  • Situations beyond Zwight’s control (bad weather, traffic, protests, natural disasters, etc.).

6. Quality Concerns

  1. If a customer is dissatisfied with the quality of food, they may contact Zwight customer support within 30 minutes of delivery.
  2. Refunds or replacements in such cases will be handled at Zwight’s sole discretion, based on investigation and evidence (photo/video proof).
  3. Zwight’s liability is limited to either replacement of food or refund of order value.

7. Fraud & Misuse

  1. Zwight reserves the right to withhold refunds in case of:
    • Repeated false claims of late delivery.
    • Abuse of refund policy.
    • Suspicious ordering activity.
  2. Accounts involved in fraudulent claims may be suspended or permanently blocked.
